Wunder Capital is Waiving Self-Directed IRA Fees

For those of you that are considering placing your first solar investment from a self-directed IRA, now may be the time! Submit an investment between December 5th and December 31st, and Wunder will cover the 1st year of fees charged by STRATA Trust Company. Consider it a gift just in time for the holidays!

Self-directed IRA investments are offered in partnership with our preferred custodian, STRATA Trust Company. STRATA charges $175 for the first year, but we'll pay that fee on your behalf if you submit an investment between December 5th and December 31st. You will be charged $150 for each subsequent year, but this fee is expected to be offset by the avoided tax burden associated with the projected return.

To qualify for this promotion, you must be a first time client of STRATA Trust Company or SDIRA Services Inc. (as they were previously known).

  • Create an account with STRATA between December 5th and December 31st. To do so, click here and select 'Crowdfunding'.

  • When completing STRATA's application, when asked 'What crowdfunding portal are you investing with?', make sure to write in 'Wunder Capital'.

  • Fund your STRATA account with the amount you'd like to invest in Wunder's funds (The investment minimum for self-directed IRA investments on Wunder's platform is $25,000).

  • Once you have created a new STRATA account (and the account is funded), place an investment using Wunder's investment portal between 12/5/2017 and 12/31/2017. (Simply start a new investment and select "New Self-Directed IRA Investor on the first step). For further instructions, please consult slides 17 - 22 of this presentation).

Please note, that Wunder will not be covering fees associated with placing additional investments through your STRATA account. Wunder will also not be covering annual account fees after the first year. Please email us at invest@wundercapital.com if you have any questions.
